Thomas Cook
We were the lead consultants responsible for successfully implementing the RIO Foreign Exchange system used in their retail shops. Following on from this they asked us to plan, manage and implement their new airline booking system.
Advance Totes
Working with the Greyhound Industry’s leading supplier of advance Tote systems we helped produce a Pocket PC Tote betting system which whilst technically highly sophisticated requires minimal training to use. This ease of use, reliability and productivity led to an immediate increase in profitability for those tracks using the system.
We have also just completed a major nationwide information system for the Greyhound industry funded by the major bookmakers. This latter system was recently described by a group of Microsoft consultants as the fastest web service based .net solution they had ever seen.
Microsoft
We were approached by Microsoft to produce a Lead Retrieval system for their IT Forum Conference. The remit for this project was that as well as being an effective Lead Retrieval system for exhibitors it had to showcase Microsoft’s Technologies and be a best in class User Experience.
The implementation of this project saw a Pocket PC with scanner attachment being used to retrieve delegate’s data from a SQL Server CE Database and for the exhibitors to be able to immediately email their leads back to head office. This system has gained very high user satisfaction feedback and has since also been used at all subsequent Microsoft ITForum, TechEd and Mobile Developer events.
With the success of the Lead Retrieval project we were asked by Microsoft to produce a new, dynamic and enhanced User Experience for delegates at the Microsoft TechEd and Mobility events. With our enhanced CommsNet application we were able to provide delegates with online and offline access to their conference information, schedule and events, as well as providing mapping, translation and other information services.
Following on from this we were asked to produce a variant on this system for Microsoft’s CIO/EPS event which could be handed out to all delegates on Microsoft Smartphone devices

We have provided lead retrieval and session scanning at a number of events for these clients and regularly work with them to produce systems that simply delight exhibitors and organisers with their ease of use, adaptability and increase in reporting and leads.
