| Kate Wilhelm has won the Nebula Award three times for her short fiction, and also the Hugo Award and the Locus Award. She has published numerous short story collections. Her first novel was a mystery, published in 1963, and in recent years she has returned to writing mysteries, although she is still better known for her thoughtful science fiction. Wilhelm lives in Eugene, Oregon, with her husband, SF writer Damon Knight. |
